NAKINA NETWORK COMMISSIONING

The Nakina Network Commissioning application is a powerful tool that is used to automatically configure a wide variety of parameters and settings on a large number of devices simultaneously across the network.

The Network Commissioning tool is flexible, and allows network operators to develop for themselves a workflow to reflect their specific operational methods and procedures, defining the overall sequence of steps to accomplish complex NE configuration tasks.

Examples would include defining the steps required to commission a group of several thousand Network Elements: i.e., (a) provision NE parameters by applying parameters from a template; (b) create accounts on NEs by applying an NE Security template that contains the information for multiple accounts; (c) verify all of the created user IDs in the template by performing successive logins; (d) set date and time on the NEs; (e) refresh NE Inventory with data from the network elements; (f) Reset performance monitoring counts, etc.

Overall, Nakina’s Network Commissioning is a powerful tool that automates much of the manual work often involved in setting up new network configurations whether these configurations are set during the installation process or at any time afterwards.
