Nakina software installation services is for network managers seeking to outsource the installation of Nakina software, ensuring proper installation while expediting deployment. Nakina Systems experts have extensive experience installing and maintaining software in large-scale service provider environments, providing worry-free, affordable installation of any combination of Nakina multi-vendor applications, security solutions, and Nakina Network OS™. Importantly, you also minimize the risk of network outages and expedite the delivery of application features and benefits.
Installation services include project planning, on-site installation of software, databases, and servers, software system testing, and overall project management for installation at any number of customer network operation centers (NOCs). Depending on the agreed upon scope of work, you can choose to have Nakina service all of the following requirements:
- Physical installation of the Nakina products on server(s);
- Creation of core Administrative User Accounts;
- Testing of network and network element connectivity for all adapter types to select NEs;
- Provisioning and testing of purchased applications and features within the system;
- Testing of all NE adaptation/device drivers;
- Planning, ongoing monitoring, and maintenance is available throughout the process;
- Installation, patching, and securing of operating system software;
- Installation of database software;
- Expansion of adapter and feature testing beyond initial select NEs (This could range from specific routes/rings to all NEs in the network);
- Creation of user accounts for all users or user types (for security administration)
- Project management of all installation services for the customer; and
- Network migration, including acceleration tools, are available as a natural extension of the installation.
